The crowd at Escambia County High School’s graduation was a fraction of the normal size as each graduate was given four tickets for family and friends. In the bleachers, those attending sat with their group at a distance from others. Valedictorian Kayley Johnson, wearing her mask, is shown leading seniors to the stadium. Rather than gather in the bleachers to watch Escambia Academy’s graduation this year, families sat with their graduates in tents on the football field. Tents were arranged to maintain social distancing guidelines. Commencement was held Thursday, May 21.

Sasser Anna Catherine Sasser, daughter of Clint and Bobbi Sasser, graduated from Troy University May 8 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training. Her graduation ceremony has been postponed to July 24.
