First Baptist Church Atmore dedicated new landscaping around the church’s entire building Sunday, June 8. Troy University recently recognized students who completed the requirements for graduation during the Spring Semester and Term 4 of the 2024-2025 academic year.Local students who graduated are Samantha Forkins Claude Hadley Michael Jones Darryl McMillianThe Spring Semester includes graduates from the Troy, Ala., campus. Henley in UA’s cooperative program
University of Alabama student Charles Henley of Atmore is participating in UA’s Cooperative Education Program during the summer 2025 semester. Henley is working for Nucor Decatur.In the Cooperative Education Program, students alternate periods of full-time study with periods of full-time employment.
