One of the most popular events at the Atmore Public Library summer reading program is the petting zoo set up on the lawn. Friday, June 13, the zoo included chickens, livestock (the goats are always popular), and fuzzy bunnies. Shown, a bunny gets gentle strokes from a new friend.

First Baptist Church Atmore dedicated new landscaping around the church’s entire building Sunday, June 8.
