Buitron receives ECHS Hall of Fame award
Escambia County High School teacher Stephanie Buitron is the first recipient of the school’s Hall of Fame award for demonstrating PRIDE (Prepared, Respectful, Involved, Disciplined, Excellence), Principal LaTonya Gill’s mantra for everyone at the school. Buitron’s overall score of 45.9 points out of 50 possible points earned her this recognition in the areas of Attendance, Collaboration, Strategic Planning, Student Progress, and Classroom Management.
Agency on Aging hosts appreciation day
On Wednesday, September 18, the Area Agency on Aging hosted Grandparents Appreciation Day at the Poarch Creek Indians Senior Center.
