Toyz for Kidz auction coming up
The annual LA Bikers Toyz for Kidz auction hosted by PeeWee and Annie Powell will be held Thursday, October 19, at the PWC building, 106 East Avenue. Get together starts at 6, auction at 7. Escambia County High School yearbook sponsor Leslie Sellers says the school has about 800 yearbooks they’d like to sell. The years are 2005 to 2016. Barnetta Williams passes away
Barnetta Williams passed away Friday, October 6. If she had lived until October 20, she would have been 110 years old. For a number of years, Mrs. Williams was honored at birthday parties as family and friends marked each milestone. Her last birthday celebrated in Atmore was her 108th in 2015.
