Rotary offering two scholarships
The Atmore Rotary Club may award two scholarships up to $2,000 per scholarship to two 2017 high school graduates with a 2.5 or higher GPA who enroll as a full-time student in a college program for the 2017–2018 academic year (fall and spring semesters). The scholarships are awarded on the basis of both merit and need. Atmore student makes AUM Dean’s List  
Matthew Kyle Barnett, a nursing major, earned recognition on the Dean’s List of Auburn University at Montgomery’s College of Nursing and Health Sciences for the Fall 2016 semester. To meet Auburn University’s requirements for inclusion on the dean’s list, the student must be enrolled for 12 credit hours and earn a GPA of at least 3.75 (on the 4.00 system).
