According to Alabama State Trooper reports, the driver of this 2002 GMC pickup was not injured when the truck inexplicitly left the roadway last Saturday (January 28) and overturned, coming to rest upside down. The single-vehicle crash happened around 1:30 p.m., on U.S. 31, at mile marker 36.

Rosa Parks Breakfast planned

Selma Mayor Darrio Melton is the guest speaker for this year’s Rosa Parks Breakfast to be held Saturday, February 4, at 9 a.m., in the fellowship hall of Greater Mt. Triumph Missionary Baptist Church on Carver Avenue. Anyone 16 and older is welcome to attend.
