Turtle Point raising funds on Redbasket.org
Turtle Point Science Center in Flomaton is raising funds to renovate the boardwalk, one of the most popular parts of the center. According to Director Jackie Word, donations may be made through Redbasket.org, a nonprofit crowdfunding website made available through WoodmenLife. The Escambia County Middle School after-school program (A-STEM) offers numerous opportunities for students as shown above. Atmore Lions Club is sponsoring two high school students to attend Troy University June 16-18 for the Alabama High School Leadership Forum.
