Market in the Park
Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual Market in the Park will get under way on Saturday, June 10, from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Heritage Park. Local and area produce and vegetable growers, bakers, canners, growers of plants and others will be selling their wares. More vendors are needed. Former school employee arrested
A former employee with the Escambia County Board of Education has been arrested and charged with having sexual contact with a student under 19 years of age. On Friday, May 26, the Escambia County Sheriff’s Department arrested Jason Paul Blaney, 38, address 4884 Highway 4 in Florida. At the time of the reported incident, Blaney was an employee of the Escambia County Board of Education. He resigned in April from…
