Grand opening

The grand opening for the newly renovated and decorated alleyway on North Main was held Saturday, June 14. The alleyway is a project of Main Street Atmore. Petting zoo at the library

One of the most popular events at the Atmore Public Library summer reading program is the petting zoo set up on the lawn. Friday, June 13, the zoo included chickens, livestock (the goats are always popular), and fuzzy bunnies. Shown, a bunny gets gentle strokes from a new friend.

FBC beautification

First Baptist Church Atmore dedicated new landscaping around the church’s entire building Sunday, June 8.
