Postal rates going up

Taylor named to President’s List
The University of West Alabama has announced undergraduate students named to the President’s List for the Fall 2018 academic semester. Jordan Taylor of Atmore was named to the President’s List. This honors list gives recognition to undergraduate students with exceptionally high grades for the semester, those with grade-point averages of 3.80 or higher on at least twelve semester hours credit with no grade lower than a C.
Stites earns degree
The University of West Alabama held fall commencement exercises on Saturday, December 8, with President Ken Tucker conferring undergraduate, master, and education specialist degrees to students of the colleges of business, education, liberal arts, and natural sciences and mathematics, and to the School of Graduate Studies. Alyssa Stites of Uriah received her Master of Education degree with a major in Instruction Leadership.
