Atmore’s observance of the National Day of Prayer will be held Thursday, May 2. This year’s theme is “Love one another. Just as I have loved you.” (John 13:34). News Staff Report The Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs will hold a public meeting in Atmore Tuesday, April 30, to discuss the Montgomery to Mobile portion of the state-sponsored Birmingham-Montgomery-Mobile Intercity Passenger Rail Feasibility Study’s second phase.
