ECMS sixth grade wins competition
Classes at Escambia County Middle School held a competition recently to collect non-perishable food items to be delivered to hurricane victims. The sixth grade won and will be treated to something special. Atmore VFW Auxiliary #7016 will host their annual Veterans Day Breakfast Monday, November 11, 7 a.m.–10 a.m., at Nett’s Kitchen in Atmore.Each veteran in attendance will receive free breakfast (courtesy of the Auxiliary) and a token of thanks from the Auxiliary.Veterans do not have to be affiliated with any veterans organization to attend.
