Zion Star AME Church hosted the Concerned Citizens of Atmore (CCOA) annual pre-Thanksgiving dinner Saturday, November 23. The Rev. Jean Archie is pastor of Zion Star. Concerned Citizens fed more than 100 elderly, sick and shut-in, and children Saturday. This annual project uses donations to purchase equipment as well as furnishings and supplies for the hospital. Special to Atmore News Atmore Community Hospital (ACH) Therapy Services has announced that ACH Auxiliary Services has made a $4,000 donation towards the purchase of a car transfer simulator.
