She was a native of Laurel, Miss. and resided in Atmore, Ala. most of her life. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, cared for everyone and helped anyone in need. A busy Lions Club meeting
Special to Atmore News The Atmore Lions Club met November 20, at the Atmore Community Hospital’s Mayson Auditorium. President Bub Gideons called the meeting to order and led the Pledge. CCOA holds Thanksgiving dinner
Zion Star AME Church hosted the Concerned Citizens of Atmore (CCOA) annual pre-Thanksgiving dinner Saturday, November 23. The Rev. Jean Archie is pastor of Zion Star. Concerned Citizens fed more than 100 elderly, sick and shut-in, and children Saturday.
