Daniel Kennedy Mascaro, son of John and Kerra Mascaro of Atmore, was commissioned January 21 as a 2nd Lt. in the United States Marine Corps. Daniel began formal training to commission in 2019. He attended Officer Candidate School in Quantico, Va. last summer and graduated in December from University of West Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Global Economics.
