Vietnam Veterans Week is being observed in Atmore this week, through Saturday, April 3. Individuals and businesses are encouraged to display yellow ribbons to honor and remember those who served in Vietnam. Shown is the ribbon at The Philanthropic Seed on the corner of Trammell and Ridgeley.

The Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Glam Shak, Friday, March 26. Chamber board members, friends and family, and Glam Shak vendors joined owner Kim Nall for the occasion. Kim and her husband Gerald are shown standing behind the big bow, ready to cut the ribbon.
