If you want to see the Greater Escambia Council for the Arts’ production of “The Sound of Music,” you’ll be glad to know tickets are still available for all shows, Thursday through Sunday, August 19-22, and August 26-29. COVID vaccinations

Escambia County Health Department’s Atmore office will continue to offer, without appointments, free COVID-19 vaccinations from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. each Monday during August. The Atmore office, located in the satellite courthouse off U.S. 31 (East Nashville Avenue), will offer the immunizations on August 9, 16, 23 and 30.
