It’s not quite spring, but the weather has been unseasonably warm. In fact, it was warm enough for the first lemonade stand of the year Saturday, March 4, when Julia Katheryn Thompson set up shop at her mom’s yard sale. Word has it she had a very successful day.

During the Atmore Lions Club meeting Wednesday, March 1, two Lions were honored. District governor 34C Bub Gideons, center, presented a 25-year pin to Patty Helton Davis, left, for her membership and service to the Atmore Lions Club.
