Escambia County Middle School recently held a schoolwide art contest.
Winners were selected from various categories and their artwork goes on to compete in the Escambia County Youth Art Show. The Brewton Council of the Arts is the sponsor of this county-wide event.
Winners at ECMS are as follows:
1st place – Aryanna Jones (8th grade)
2nd Place – Isabella See (8th grade)
3rd Place – Raniyah Johnson (7th grade)
Honorable Mention – Jayden Wallace (8th grade)
The public is invited to view the work from March 14 to April 8. The two-dimensional work will be at the Brewton YMCA; the three-dimensional work and the photography will be displayed at the Brewton Public Library.
