The following felony arrests were reported by officers of the Atmore Police Department (APD) and Poarch Creek Indians (PCI) police department during the period February 6-9:
Ricky Donnell Reed Jr.

Few details were provided, but the Escambia County Detention Center (ECDC) website shows Reed, 29, was arrested February 6 by PCI tribal police on felony drug charges.
Reed was taken into custody around 11:51 a.m. at an undisclosed location.
Officers reportedly seized more than 45 grams of methamphetamine, almost 34 grams of marijuana and a digital scale that had meth and pot residue on it.
Reed is being held under a $1 million bond on one count each of trafficking in methamphetamine, first-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He remained in the county lockup Monday morning, February 17.
Angie Courtney

The 44-year-old Atmore woman was charged February 9 with felony drug possession after the vehicle she was driving was pulled over because it had no tag.
According to police reports, the traffic stop took place around 8:55 p.m. on North Main Street. The officer noted “suspicious behavior” as he talked with Courtney and called for a K9 officer. The dog “alerted” on the vehicle, indicating there were illegal substances inside.
A probable cause search led to the discovery of almost 12 grams of fentanyl, a small amount of methamphetamine, more than five grams of marijuana, a digital scale, and “items that are used to ingest narcotics.”
Courtney was processed into the ECDC on two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count each of second-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released from jail February 10.
Eric Lambert

The 59-year-old Atmore man was arrested February 9 after an APD officer spotted him near the intersection of Carver Avenue and Presley Street and recognized him as the subject of an outstanding felony warrant for first-degree possession of marijuana.
Lambert was spotted around 3:45 p.m. and after the officer confirmed the warrant was still active, he was taken into custody. When Lambert was searched prior to being taken to jail, police discovered an unspecified quantity of crack cocaine and a glass pipe with crack residue.
Police lodged additional charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, and Lambert was booked into the ECDC, from which he was released February 10.
