On Thursday, January 16, twenty-three local students were chosen to compete for the honor of being a 2025 Southern Pine Electric Co-op Youth Tour representative. Students were chosen by faculty members of their respective schools, based on academic achievements and extracurricular achievements.
Students selected by their schools to participate in Youth Tour are as follows:
- Escambia Academy – Rae Manac, Ronta Watson
- Escambia County High School – Imari Lemon, Tevin McClain
- Excel High School – Paisley Brooks, Jackson Millender
- Flomaton High School – Luke Fore, Addison Green
- Hillcrest High School – Jamarcus Lowe, Janyia Stallworth
- J.F. Shields High School – Zye Smith
- J.U. Blacksher High School – Jayce Pugh, Ava Woods
- Monroe Academy – Caroline Kilgore, Jack Lipscomb
- Monroe County High School – Kahlie Huff, Jaylen Nord
- Sparta Academy – Karley Coker, Murfee Williams
- T.R. Miller High School – Aidan Haecker, Sarah Paige Schultz
