The following felony arrest was the only one reported by officers of the Atmore Police Department (APD) during the period October 26-November 1:
Donnie Victor
Police reports show that Victor, 44, was arrested October 30 after an APD patrol officer pulled his vehicle over when he observed that it had no license plate, and its taillights weren’t working as it traveled along Lindberg Avenue around 7:55 p.m.
When the officer checked Victor’s identification, he learned that the Atmore man was the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant from the county sheriff’s office for “probation violation for dangerous drugs.”
A K9 officer at the scene deployed his K9, which “alerted” on the vehicle. Meanwhile, Victor was placed under arrest for the outstanding warrant, and a probable cause search of the vehicle was initiated.
Officers discovered a small amount of methamphetamine, an undisclosed number of hydrocodone pills, and unspecified “items used to ingest narcotics.”
Victor was booked into the Escambia County Detention Center on one count each of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without a license. He remained in the county jail Monday afternoon, November 4.
