GECA to present ‘The Odd Couple: Ladies Edition’

The Greater Escambia Council for the Arts (GECA) announces its upcoming production of “The Odd Couple: Ladies Edition,” a twist on the Neil Simon comedy. The show will run from October 10 to 13 and October 17 to 20 at the GECA theater in Atmore.
In this female-led version of the classic play, audiences will follow journey of two mismatched roommates, messy Olive Madison and neat-freak Florence Unger.
The production features a local cast:
Olive Madison – Charity Strength
Florence Unger – Anna Donald
Mickey – Courtney Jade Bonie
Renee – Malary Goldman
Sylvie – Mikalia Feagans
Vera – Monica Booker
Manolo – Ayden Roynon / Simon Bush
Jesus – Braxton Wagner
“This version of ‘The Odd Couple’ brings a fresh perspective while maintaining the humor and wit that made the original so iconic. Our cast has been fantastic, and we’re looking forward to sharing this production with the Atmore community,” director Ollie Jaye said.
