More than 50 vendors were on hand Saturday, July 27, for Poppy’s Christmas in July event on Highway 21. There was something for everyone who was in the mood to browse and buy. Poppy’s owners Cheryl and Taylor Nelson were really pleased with the number of vendors and shoppers for their first Christmas in July. The weather turned a bit ugly in the late morning, but that’s summer in this area.
