Marsha White Wright
Mrs. Marsha White Wright, age 71, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother, of Pensacola, Fla. passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024 in Monroe, Ga. She was born in Atmore, Ala. to David F. White and Ruby Presley White.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and her dog, Tiger. She also loved spoiling her grandchildren or anyone else’s grandchildren. Her passionate love for her family and strength will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elbert Myrle Wright (Al) and her siblings, Russell Wayne White, Franklin Paul White and Connie White Gibson.
Mrs. Wright is survived by her siblings, David White, Ricky White, Tony White, Terry (Sherry) White, Francine (Norman) Wilson, all of Atmore, Nancy (Joe) Pace of Murphy, N.C. and Judy (Otto) Wallace of Pensacola; her sons, Timothy (Kathy) Lovell of Monroe, Ga. and Matthew Jack (Cameo) Lovell of Dupont, Wash.; her grandchildren, Abigail Rose Lovell, Amelia Joy Lovell, Grace Ruby Lovell, Jack Matthew Lovell, Adora Lynnette Mast, Cody Elizabeth Lovell, Timothy Jack Lovell; her great-grandchildren, Gage, Madelyn, Silas and Elowin.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Hosey Presley Cemetery in Nokomis, Ala.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 16, 2024 from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.

Sid Mallard, Sr.
Mr. Sid Mallard, Sr., age 99, of Atmore, Ala., passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024. He was born in Atmore to Jam and Mattie Mallard. He attended Escambia County Training School. He relocated to Cleveland, Ohio and thirty-years to Atmore to care for his father.
Mr. Mallard is survived by two sons, Jimmie Mallard of Montgomery, Ala. and Sid Mallard of Cleveland; grandchildren, Aletha Lewis and Chris Mallard of Montgomery, Tameka Tucker of Accakeek, Md., Jimmie Mallard, Jr. of Phoenix, Ariz., LeAuna Mallard and Miles Mallard, both of Cleveland; three sisters, Mattie McGill, A. Louise Dickerson and Mary D. Tims, all of Mobile, Ala; two brothers, I.C. Mallard of Mobile and Eddie C. (Beulah) Mallard of Fayetteville, N.C.; eight great-great-grandchildren, Alisha, Nyah, Miles, Dasha, Malee, Zyra, Rayon and Raya; a host of nieces, nephews and a very caring niece, Vasaroy Johnson.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. at Greater Mt. Triumph Baptist church with Rev. Willie Hawthorne , Sr., Eulogy-Pastor presiding. Interment follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers were his nephews, grandsons and friends.

Melissa Elaine Franklin
Ms. Melissa Elaine Franklin, age 56, of Walnut Hill, Fla., passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024. She was an active member of the House of Prayer Church serving as Sunday school assistant superintendent, head of the Usher Board as well as a member of the Chancel Choir. She had a passion of travel, shopping and caring for her beautiful flowers. She found great joy in r3ading the Bible and living by its teachings.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosetta Franklin and sister, Diane Winston.
Ms. Franklin is survived by her son, Laderious (Briana) Franklin; sisters, Antoinette Franklin, Latasha (Jeffery) Fountain and Serena Franklin; niece and nephew, Jazzlyn and Quinston Ephraim, Jr.; niece, Keisha Winston and special aunt, Christine Franklin; uncle, Bance (Annie) Franklin; special cousin, Michelle Franklin; a host of cousins and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 11 a.m. at House of Prayer Church with Bishop Catadro North Presider and Pastor Danny Fountain Eulogist.

Allie Mae Jones-Williams
Mrs. Allie Mae Jones-Williams, age 69, of Atmore, Ala., passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024. She was born in Philadelphia, Pa. to Willie and Rosie Lee Jones. Moving to Atmore she attended Escambia County Training School and Jefferson Davis Community College earning a degree in carpentry. Her working history included Gladys Kitchen and Best Western. She lived a life with love, laughter and kindness.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Donnie and Erby Lee Jones; one sister, Rosemary Jones and three nephews, Victor, Edwards, Lajuan Morrison and Brandon (Tae) Jones.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband of twenty-one years, Crister (Chris) Williams of Frisco City, Ala.; two sons, Labarryon (Tomeka) Jones and Christopher (Andria) Jones and a niece, Marquita Jones; grandchildren, Adaia Wiggins, Laderian Peoples, Charmia Hollinger, Christiara Jones, Antoinette Jones, Labarryon Jones, Jr., Labreisha Jones, Alexis Brooks, Charles Lambert and a loving God-daughter, Tiffany Roberts; great-grandchildren, John Kelly IV, Kailani Peoples, Kyzen Brooks, Cassian Brooks and Carter Lambert; siblings, Ollie Mae Jones, Claretha Jones, Ella Jones, John Lee (Eartha) Jones, Joe (Kathy) Jones, Albert (Sandy) Jones, Frank (Carolyn Jones, Kenny Ray Jones, Martesha Jones and also her in-laws, Lois Jewan Williams-Hill, Marsharal Williams, Latana (Otis) Williams-Locke, Jerry (Gloria) Williams, Jasper (Claretta) Williams, Calvin (Wanda) Williams, Tony (Della) Williams, Jeffery (Latonia) Williams, Darrin (Zandra) Williams and one uncle, Paul Dailey; a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
