November is National Diabetes Awareness Month. The Atmore Lions Club recently donated much needed diabetic supplies to Rachel Patterson Elementary School. The supplies will be used to provide immediate care to diabetic students when their blood sugar becomes unbalanced. Each box contained the following: juice boxes, tube icing, candy, cheese crackers, and other appropriate care items.
