Breaking ground


Ground breaking for the Perdido River Farms meat processing facility near Atmore was held Thursday, May 25. Perdido River Farms, which consists of 2,900 acres of Poarch Creek Indian owned agricultural properties that support a sustainable herd of cattle producing USDA-inspected beef for the public, is building a state-of-the-art processing facility to serve the South Alabama area. A number of dignitaries were on hand for the ceremony.
