Leslie E. Guelsby
Mr. Leslie E. Guelsby, age 66, of Atmore, Ala., passed away Friday, September 9, 2022 in Atmore, AL. He was born at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. to James Cecil and Patsy Patch Gulsby. He served in the Army National Guard and was an electrician with Engels.
He was preceded in death by his father; his sister, Vicki Lynn Jordan and his nephew, Michael Scott “Scotty” Jordan.
Mr. Guelsby is survived by his mother, Patsy Patch Gulsby; his brother, David Gulsby and his nephew, Casey Jordan.
A memorial graveside service will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery with Bro. Don Sanks officiating. Inurnment followed at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Teresa “Terri” Ann Waller
Mrs. Teresa “Terri” Ann Waller, age 61, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022 in Mobile, Ala. She was a native of Flomaton, Ala. and resided the past twenty-five years in Atmore, Ala. She was employed with Creek Indian Enterprise the past ten years. She was a very dedicated hard worker and really loved her job. She loved the Thursday night dinner dates with her husband. She enjoyed going out on the water boating, riding motorcycles, and going to the flea markets. She enjoyed going to parades especially “Mardi Gras”. She was always upbeat and never met a stranger.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Raymond and Martha Ann O’Bannon Carden, and husband, Jerry Waller.
Mrs. Waller is survived by her loving husband of thirteen years, Jim Fulford of Atmore; two daughters, Amanda (Darrell) Glover of Jay, Fla. and Tiffany (Zac) Hamm of Crestview, Fla.; one brother, Rusty (Frances) Carden of Brewton, Ala.; one sister, Robin Johnson of Brewton; seven grandchildren, Landon Bondurant, Bentley Glover, Bailey Glover, Hunter Glover, Kynslee Glover, Addyson Hamm, Ava Hamm, Amy Lynn Collier, Brad Fulford, Rosie Blanchard; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral service will be held Monday, September 26, 2022 at 3 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home, LLC. with Rev. Tony Richburg officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Betty Ann Mason
Ms. Betty Ann Mason, age 89, passed away Friday, September 23, 2022 in Atmore, Ala. She was a lifelong resident of Atmore and a member of the First Baptist Church of Atmore. She enjoyed playing the piano, and gardening. She enjoyed doing yard work, raking, and manicuring her yard, with planting and growing flowers. She took care of her special needs sister. She enjoyed spending the holidays with family, and hosting Thanksgiving at her house. She was a great cook and always loved to go shopping.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Lola Troutman Mason; one sister, Nell Mason and one brother, Paul Mason.
Ms. Mason survived by her two nieces, Paula (Harley) Kindig and Shayne Lee, both of Alpharetta, Ga.; two nephews, Colby Kindig and Garrett Lee, both of Alpharetta, GA; and other relatives.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home, LLC. with Rev. Kevin Garrett officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Ann Clark Bingham
Ann Clark Bingham, age 60, of Florence, S.C., passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Atmore, Ala. to the late James Tyrell and Eunice Viola Seales Clark.
Mrs. Bingham is survived by her husband, John William Bingham, II; her son, John (Courtney) Bingham, III; her daughter, Heather Ann Bingham; her granddaughter, Violet Bingham; her brother, Tyrell (Rose) Clark and her sisters, Barbara Rixey, Connie (Gordon) Raines and Carolyn Green.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel in Atmore. Interment will follow at Dry Springs Cemetery in Pineville, Fla.

Shea Watson Johnson
Mrs. Shea Watson Johnson, age 67, of Atmore, Ala., passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022 in Pensacola, Fla. She was born in Etowah, Tenn. to the late Wayne and Alice Barkley Watson. She was a member of Robinsonville Baptist Church and cherished her service at her church. Shea was the orchestra at the Greater Escambia Council for the Arts and was a fluent pianist and teacher. She especially loved her children, cats, birds and the kids from the theatre who called her Momma Shea.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband of thirty-eight years, Rev. Phillip B. Johnson; her son, J. Daniel Johnson and his fiancé, Holly Russell of Adairsville, Ga.; her daughter, Ellen Johnson and her husband, Andrew Willis of Brewton, Ala. and her brothers, Judge James Watson of Etowah and David (Julie) Watson of Huntsville, Ala.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 3, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Robinsonville Baptist Church with Dr. Larry Patterson and Bro. Glenn Weber officiating. Interment will follow at Robinsonville Baptist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Jerry James, Brandon Smith, Dean Smith, Nathan Lindsey, Joseph Seltzer and Andrew Goble.

Anthony “A.J.” Matthews, Jr.
Mr. Anthony “A.J.” Matthews, Jr. (Tyrone), age 27, of Atmore, Ala., passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022. He was born to Anthony and Torisha Matthews, Sr. He attended Escambia Count 8y High School and was a 2o14 graduate of James Madison High School in Montgomery, Ala. He was a member of Gaines Chapel A.M.E. Church.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rufus (Sonny) Fantroy, Cora Matthews and Willie James (Bo Bo) Johnson; great-grandparents, Billy and Georgia Mae Matthews, Adell Fantroy Cheeseborrough, James Fantroy, Minnie Leslie and Jimmie Lee Johnson.
Mr. Matthews is survived by his mother and father; daughter, Kinleigh Latrice Finklea; grandmother, Minnie Fantroy; step-grandmother, Vasaroy Johnson; uncles, Gary Matthews of Anniston, Ala., Rufus Fantroy, Jr. of Atmore, Tony Johnson o Miss., Clint Butler and Larry Mitchell, both of Pensacola, Fla.; Aunt, Jahiallia Johnson Crook of Montgomery, Ala.; three cousins, Tera Matthews Still, Anthony (Bug) Matthews and Karissa Matthews and his forever game buddy, Jerriod (Rod) Bowens.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Stallworth Cemetery with Pastor Brian Johnson Eulogist.
