EA captures state track title

Escambia Academy’s girls and boys junior high track and field team

captured the 2021 AISA Class 1A-2A Junior High State Championship

Monday, April 12, during the 2021 AISA Junior High State Track Meet.

In the girls division, EA secured the win with 113 points, while Jackson Academy

finished second with 102. Edgewood Academy’s girls team finished third with 74

points.

In the 1A-2A junior boys division, the Cougars finished in the top slot with

204 points. Wilcox Academy finished in second place with 130 points, and

Edgewood placed third with 86 points.
