Morgan named to SNHU President’s List
Rajania Morgan of Atmore has been named to Southern New Hampshire University’s (SNHU) Spring 2025 President’s List.Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above for the reporting term are named to the President’s List.Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter / spring, and summer.The spring terms run from January to May.
PCI donates to AACCM
Charlotte Meckel and Sandy Hollinger, members of the Poarch Creek Tribal Council, delivered a check to Atmore Area Christian Care Ministry, Wednesday, May 14. Leadership Atmore graduates
Leadership Atmore held their graduation Thursday, May 15. Director Dawn Vaughan was the speaker for the evening which included dinner and award presentations. The class raised approximately $8,000 through fundraising and community donations which will be used for numerous organization donations in Atmore. Tom Byrne Park Pool schedule
Swimming and diving lessonsRegistration for the first session of swimming and diving lessons will be held Tuesday, May 27, 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., at the Tom Byrne Park Pool. Lessons will be June 2 – June 20, with classes at 9, 10 and 11. These classes will meet Monday – Friday for one hour each. These classes are small in number. The Gamma Omega Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma closed out their year Thursday, May 15. Special guest Gail Dawson with Delta Chapter in Monroeville talked about the history between that chapter and the Atmore chapter.
