Escambia County High’s Cleo Bolar IV, a 6-0 junior guard, was selected by Alabama Sports Writers Association (ASWA) members to the organization’s Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) Class 4A All-State squad.
Bolar, who was named to the third team, came into his own last year as a sophomore and has become one of ECHS’s offensive and defensive leaders over the past two years.
According to stats posted on MaxPreps.com, the junior led the Blue Devils in scoring during the regular season, averaging 21.6 points per game. He also led the team in assists (2.8 per game) and steals (4.3 per game).
