Josey Hadley is the new girls softball coach at Escambia Academy, and he’s looking to overhaul the girls’ sports program at the school. But that takes funds.
Hadley and the teams are planning to hold fund-raisers to help with finances. The current fund-raiser is Athletic Club sports banners. Sponsors may choose their sport for the banner – football, basketball, volleyball, baseball or softball.
Any purchases or donations will be directed to Hadley to use for supplies and accessories for the girls’ sports programs.
Recently, the girls basketball team finished runner-up in AISA junior varsity.
The first softball game is February 28 against Central Christian Academy.
