The spirit of Christmas was in the house at Progressive Civic and Recreational Club held their annual Christmas party Friday, December 13.
PCRC’S members enjoyed dinner, exchanged gifts, Christmas Carols, and a short program and prayer by Calvin Stots.
Reports are that “a wonderful time was had by all who attended.”
PCRC was established in 1960 as a nonprofit organization-501(c)(3). The organization functions with membership dues, and funds received from local and out-of-state residents. PCRC helps assist needy families when requested, and also provides scholarships for high school students.
New members are welcome to join.
Guests at the party were Robert Poole Sr., Rachel Brown Wiggins, Franks Dailey, Renay Marshall, and Sherry Dennis.
