Band, choir concert
The Escambia County High School Winter Concert will be held Thursday, December 12, 7 p.m., in the ECHS Hodnette Auditorium. Featured will be the ECHS Choir, Escambia County Middle School Concert Band, and the ECHS Wind Ensemble. Admission is free. Suggested donations are $4 for adults, $2 for students.
GECA Christmas play
The Greater Escambia Council for the Arts (GECA) production of “An Enchanted Bookshop Christmas,” concludes this week. Show dates are December 12-15, at the GECA Theater, corner of Trammell Street and Highway 31. Thursday through Saturday shows are at 7 p.m. Sunday show is at 2 p.m. Tickets are $12 each and are available at www.gecarts.org.
PCI parade
The 2024 Poarch Creek Indians Tropical Christmas Parade will be Friday, December 13, 5:30 p.m. The parade will begin at the Poarch Creek Indians Gym and end at the Lavan Martin Assisted Living Facility.
Atmore parade
The Atmore Annual Twilight Christmas Parade is set for Saturday, December 14, 5:30 p.m. The theme is “A Tropical Christmas.” Line-up is at city hall. The parade rolls down Main Street to Lindberg Avenue.
First Assembly Christmas play
Atmore First Assembly of God presents “Scrooge Meets the Christ of Christmas” Sunday, December 15, 6:30. The church is located at 1120 S. Main Street, Atmore.
