Domestic incident leads to felony drug charges for local man

The following felony arrest was the only one reported by Atmore Police Department (APD) officers during the period November 26-December 8:

No details were provided, but postings on the APD Facebook page indicate that police were in the process of arresting Reynolds, 37, of Atmore on a domestic violence complaint when they discovered an unspecified quantity of an unspecified illegal drug, but enough of the drug that he was charged with distributing it.
Reynolds was processed into the Escambia County Detention Center around 3:17 p.m. He remained behind bars Monday morning, December 9, charged with one count each of domestic violence by strangulation or suffocation, distribution of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
