RAG auditioning for ‘Polar Express’

The Railway Arts Guild is auditioning for their annual production of “The Polar Express,” Sunday, November 10, 2 p.m., in Atmore City Hall.
They are looking for children and adults of all experience levels for acting, singing, and/or dance roles. This is an excellent opportunity for new performers to test the waters of doing a play, as this production’s rehearsal process requires less time commitment than a full-length play. All auditioners will be asked to read selections from the script, singers will need to bring 30 to 90 seconds of an accompanied song, and there will be about 16 measures of dance auditions taught on the day for anyone interested in being considered for the Dancing Waiters in the Hot Chocolate number.
The performances will be Dec 20 and 21 at the Boxcar Willie stage on Ridgley Street in Atmore. The rehearsal schedule will be flexible, but availability for the evenings of the performance days is required to participate.
