Children and staff with Atmore First Baptist Preschool observed Childhood Cancer Awareness with a balloon release Monday, September 30. Cancer survivor Anna Lois Mercer was invited to attend and be honored but unfortunately could not attend. FBC pastor Dr. Kevin Garrett prayed for young victims of cancer, for God’s blessings on them. He said the balloon release is “our way of saying we love them.” Shown, some of the students get ready to release their balloons.
