Alabama State Troopers reported that no injuries resulted from a two-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer rig and a small sedan that occurred at approximately 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 19. Trooper reports indicate that the crash occurred when the 1994 Kenworth struck the 2017 Volkswagen Jetta, which was turning. The wreck happened on Jack Springs Road near its junction with Woods Road. Senior Trooper Joshua Thompson said state troopers no longer release the names of accident victims unless there is a fatality.
