Atmore resident Sara Milliken (center), winner of the Miss Alabama title in the recent National American Miss pageant, posed with city officials during the June 1 ribbon cutting for Atmore’s Arts & Entertainment District. It was a case of “third time lucky” for the 23-year-old local woman, daughter of Lisa Milliken and the late Larry Milliken. She had twice before entered the pageant without placing.
