On Thursday, January 11, 24 local students were chosen to compete for the honor of being a 2024 Southern Pine Electric Co-op Youth Tour representative. Students were chosen by faculty members of their respective schools, based on academic achievements and extracurricular achievements.
Students selected by their schools to participate in Youth Tour were Myles Johnson, T.R. Miller High School; Bycelind Jones, J.F. Shields High School; Marley Bodine, Monroe County High School; Harper Harrison, Flomaton High School; Henry Scott, Hillcrest High School; Justin Wedel, Escambia Academy; Charlino Johnson, Escambia County High School; Paisley Donaldson, Escambia Academy; Ashley Parra, Escambia County High School; Lawson Gross, J.U. Blacksher High School; Jackson King, W.S. Neal High School; Jacob Taylor, Excel High School; Carlye Wiggins, W.S. Neal High School; Kendall Plunkett, Excel High School; Abby Cooper, J.U. Blacksher High School; Secily Carter, Flomaton High School; Aayashia Riley, J.F.
