Stuffed animals for first responders
In September the Atmore Memorial VFW Auxiliary held a stuffed animal drive to distribute animals to first responder agencies to give children in emergency / traumatic situations. The community responded and Monday, October 16, Auxiliary member Jenny Hutto and Auxiliary President Jackey Odom distributed stuffed animals to the Atmore police and fire departments, Poarch police and fire departments, and Medstar Ambulance. Cancer Walk
More than 30 people of all ages took part in the 13th annual Women of Distinction (WOD) Cancer Awareness Walk, held Saturday, October 14. The group walked from Atmore City Hall to Houston Avery Park, and marchers paid $10 each. RAG presents ‘Doubt’
The Railway Arts Guild will present “Doubt: A Parable” this Friday, October 20, in Atmore for one night only.
