Christmas downtown
The Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce hosted Christmas in Downtown Atmore Thursday evening, November 30. Douglas Caraway Mr. Douglas Caraway, age 75, of Griffin, Ga., formerly of Bratt, Fla. passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2023, after a short stay in Kennestone Hospital, Marietta, Ga. He graduated from Auburn University with a mechanical engineering degree; worked for John Blue Tractor Company in Huntsville, Ala.; McDonough Power and Equipment Company designing Snapper lawnmowers in McDonough.
