The annual meeting of the Escambia County Board of Education will be held Tuesday, November 28, 4:30 p.m., at the Atmore Central Office. The meeting was originally scheduled for November 16 in Brewton, but was changed in an October meeting.
Ala. Code §16-8-4 requires the board to have an annual meeting in November of each year unless a different timeframe is set by local act. The board must elect a president and vice-president at that time.
