Mr. and Mrs. Steven Walter Lancaster of Atmore announce the engagement of their daughter, Bailey Colleen, formerly of Atmore and now residing in Smyrna, Georgia, to Mr. Garrett Wayne Cornelius, formerly of Hanceville, Alabama, and now residing in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Miss Lancaster is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wendell Brantley of Atmore and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Houston Lancaster, Sr., of Repton, Alabama. Mr. Cornelius is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Wayne Cornelius of Hanceville, Alabama, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Cornelius of Hanceville, Alabama; Mr. and Mrs. Michael E. Smith of Hanceville, Alabama; and the late Mr. Lavell Duke.
Miss Lancaster graduated from Escambia Academy in 2017 and from Auburn University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Supply Chain Management. She is employed with Manhattan and Associates as a Software Consultant. Mr. Cornelius graduated from Cullman High School in 2017 and from the University of Alabama in 2020 with Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing and Management, and in 2021 with a Master of Arts in International Business. He is employed with Inspire Brands as a Risk Analyst.
The couple are planning a wedding at Huntsville Botanical Gardens on March 16, 2024.
