Russell Ball has been named the Atmore Community Hospital Therapy Services manager.
Ball has been serving as an occupational therapist for ACH since 2020. In his new role as manager, Ball will assume the overall management and administrative responsibility for the ACH Therapy Services Department, while maintaining his patient load of dry needling, hand therapy and other occupational therapy appointments.
“Russell has been a great asset to the Atmore Community Hospital therapy team and as we turn the page to this new chapter, we are very optimistic about our path forward,” ACH Administrator Brad Lowery said. “He began his new role January 23 and is meeting with area physicians to build upon our already strong relationships.”
Prior to joining ACH Therapy Services, Ball was in private practice and worked with Monroe County Hospital in Monroeville. Ball graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy. He also holds a Juris Doctorate from Jones School of Law at Faulkner University in Montgomery.
Ball and his wife Tracey live in Uriah with their children. In addition to Ball working at ACH, his wife and a daughter are both RNs and currently work at ACH as well.
