Atmore Fire Department’s annual Santa in a Firetruck will take place on four nights during the week of December 19-23.
The firetruck-borne Santa will appear in the city’s southwest quadrant (south of Nashville Avenue, west of Main Street) on Monday, December 19, and will be in the southeastern quadrant (south of Nashville, east of Main) on Tuesday, December 20.
He will not make an appearance on Wednesday, December 21, but will ride through the city’s northeastern sector (north of Nashville, east of Main) on Thursday, December 22 and the northwest sector (north of Nashville, west of Main) on Friday, December 23.
The Jolly Old Elf will wave and exchange Christmas greetings with kids of all ages, from 5 to 8 p.m. each night. Kids are encouraged to come out to curbside or stand in yards or on porches to greet Santa.
