BOE approves personnel recommendations

The Escambia County Board of Education approved the following personnel recommendations by Superintendent John Knott at a special board meeting Tuesday, July 13.

Resignation

1. Shirley Prescod, special education instructional aide, Escambia County Middle School, effective June 9, 2021

2. James Weber, choir teacher, Escambia County Middle School, effective July 12, 2021

3. Lauren Darden, elementary teacher, Flomaton Elementary School, effective July 12, 2021

4. LaShelby James, 6-Hour lunchroom worker, Flomaton High School, effective June 29, 2021
