An Escambia County man, convicted in 2018 in Escambia County Circuit Court, was granted parole recently during hearings by the Alabama Bureau of Pardons and Paroles.
Charles D. Brown, 32, was paroled after having served three years of a 15-year sentence for a third-degree burglary conviction he received in June 2018.
A Perdido man who was convicted in Escambia County Circuit Court was turned down in his bid for parole. Vincent Lambeth, 48, will remain in prison. Lambeth was sentenced in 2014 to 10 years behind bars after his conviction on a charge of possessing obscene material that included a person under the age of 17.
Without parole or pardon, the minimum release date for Lambeth, who has served almost eight years of his sentence, is February 4, 2023.
A scheduled hearing for a third local man, 23-year-old Dalton Ryan Walker, was continued.
