Gamma Omega chapter of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International held its monthly meeting on November 12, in the Fellowship Hall of First Baptist Church with President Leslie Sellers presiding. Hostess for the meeting was Leigh Ann Rowland.
Leilani Mason, from Healthy Minds Consulting, presented the program on stress management. Her program emphasized the way to reduce stress was to line up what is important in your life with priorities you set. The treatment for health and anxiety is exercise, diet, intimacy with friends and family, meet with a therapist, and the last treatment is medication. The program certainly hit home to many with the added stress of COVID and the unusual situation our teachers find themselves in.
Members present were Evelyn Bilbo, Joanne Bonds, Pat Bonner, Leslie Sellers, Jessica White, Leigh Ann Rowland, Connie Hetrick, and Nancy Karrick.
