City of Atmore officials have announced on the city’s Facebook page the following tentative schedule for the pool at Houston Avery Park which is set to open Tuesday, May 26.
Children’s swimming lessons:
Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-12 p.m., $1 per person.
Public Swimming
Monday and Wednesday, 1 p.m.-7 p.m.
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 1 p.m.-5 p.m.
Tuesday and Thursday nights, 7 p.m.-9 p.m.
Admission: $1 per person
Closed Saturdays and Sundays
Private parties
4-hour block of time
$75 rental fee for pool
$40 per lifeguard (minimum of 2)
*Note: If more than 20 people in a party, an additional lifeguard will be required.
